generalist & change manager

Looking back on my more than twenty-year career, "generalist" probably describes me most aptly due to the experience I have gained in business areas of medium-sized companies.

 

With focus on wholesale and industry, in sports and fashion, metal processing as well as in consulting and IT sectors. The main area of activity is all “administrative order to cash processes” as well as supporting areas such as controlling, people & culture, IT and purchase.

 

In my understanding, a core requirement for a commercial management function is to further develop the company

on a procedural and technical level in order to master

the increasing complexity and individuality with secure

and digital processes that are as automated as possible.

Digitization projects in individual departments, a

company-wide introduction of new software or the

merger of business units are established procedures in which I was able to accompany numerous teams on a project-by-project basis or as responsible leader.

Here, a broad range of expertise helps to align, standardize and automate the commercial core processes for the adjacent technical areas and the accompanying support processes in a needs-based and customer-oriented manner. By implementing LEAN methods and CIP mindsets to an appropriate extent, the associated change is supported by all teams and departments which will be restructured or further developed within themselves. In coping with these tasks, in addition to the basic responsibilities of commercial management functions, agile as well as classic project and moderation professionalism, coaching and training skills as well as a cooperative communication style and knowledge of the overall entrepreneurial situation and future objectives helps a lot in achieving sustainable results. Sparring and reporting at management and C-level is indispensable for the conception and implementation of these multi-layered development projects, in which regular fine-tuning contributes to improved alignment.
